SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Early results show that California's nationally-watched ban on same-sex marriage is passing.
The measure was passing Tuesday in several Northern California counties including Butte, Calaveras, Humboldt, Lake, Placer, Sacramento and San Joaquin counties.
It was failing in Marin County, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area.
