Channel 4 have
released the first clip from Our Gay
Wedding: The Musical ahead of its broadcast tonight (March 31).
The special
programme – which will be presented by Stephen Fry – will feature the wedding
of West End star Nathan Taylor and composer Benjamin Till.
The couple have
written the music and lyrics for their musical wedding, which will feature
performances from The Feeling, The London Gay Men’s Chorus and more.
Julie
Hesmondhalgh, Ollie Locke, Boy George, Ed Miliband and Ollie Locke will also
feature in the programme.
Benjamin
and Nathan said: “We’ve been together for nearly 12 years and never thought
we’d get the chance to get married for real.
“Doing
what we both do for a living has meant that we’ve spent our entire lives
expressing emotion through song, so getting married in a musical, particularly
one that we’re writing ourselves, felt like the most natural thing in the
