UEFA fines Vlatko Markovic

UEFA has fined Croatian Football Federation president for homophobic statements.
Vlatko Markovic will need to pay 10,000 Euros (8,700 pounds) for saying he "never met a gay person as only healthy people play football".
Vlatko Markovic has also added in the same interview that "homosexuals would never play" in his team.
The Croatian justice system had previously refused accusations by gay and lesbian associations against Vlatko Markovic.
