Video: Teenage girl's plea for gay marriage

A video of a 16-year-old girl's speech at her gay parents' wedding is becoming an internet sensation.
Chelsea Montgomery-Duban addressed the crowds at her dads' wedding in California last October with a tearful speech on how marriage is about love, not gender.
The video was posted by Chelsea earlier this month on YouTube, where she wrote: "I'm the proud 16-year-old daughter of same-sex parents. Because of twisted laws my parents couldn't get married until last October after 26 years of being together. I hope to be able to change some peoples ideas about same sex marriage because of my unique point of view. This is my speech from my parents' wedding."
In the speech, she says: "According to me, marriage is not just a man and a woman. It is two people who love each other and promise to be together in sickness and in health.
"Marriage is not even a beautiful white dress. But it is love blossoming between two individuals and the promise that what they have together can only get better."
As she begins to break down in tears, Chelsea adds: "It is a bond between two people that love each other so much that their hearts are bursting with joy and love and compassion for each other and no one can tell them that they shouldn't belong together or that they shouldn't love each other. "
Ironically, just a month after the California wedding between Dennis Duban and Kevin Montgomery, gay marriage was once more illegal in the state after voters opted to pass a law requiring marriage to be between a man and a woman.
However, the Supreme Court ruled that couples such as the Montgomery-Dubans could stay married if they had their ceremonies in the brief window of time when gay marriage was legal.
